The number of confirmed cases of norovirus at the University of Regina has now reached 89.
Other cases are still pending, so the number of people affected could still go higher.
It is also believed that all of the cases are traced back to the initial outbreak last week, and not due to a further spreading of the virus.
Symptoms include vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, fever, chills and muscle aches.
The university says the precautions put into place at the onset of the outbreak have limited the spread of norovirus on campus and remain in effect.
The safety measures include restricting certain food items, shutting down self-serve buffets, and keeping the fitness and wellness centre closed this week.
Anyone showing symptoms is being asked to stay home for at least 48 hours after symptoms have cleared up.
