It’s back to normal today at the Friendship Inn after the city lifted a boil water advisory Tuesday.
A water main break on Saturday forced the kitchen to stop serving hot meals. However, an army of volunteers kept people fed by handing out bagged lunches.
“A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone that helped us with our bagged lunches. We could not have done this service without you,” executive director Sandra Stack said on Twitter.
The Friendship Inn’s regular hot breakfast and lunch meals will be back on the menu Wednesday.
