A two-month investigation into a drug trafficking ring in the Regina area has resulted in four people facing charges.
Police officers with the Combined Special Forces Unit (CSFU) arrested 27-year-old Cecil Francis of Pilot Butte on Thursday in Regina. He was found with a loaded .45 calibre pistol the time of the arrest.
The CSFU is a provincial integrated police task force formed to investigate emerging organized crime groups.
After the arrest, officers obtained a search warrant for vehicles and houses connected to Francis where they seized 10 ounces of cocaine.
Orrain Hall, 21, of Regina was also arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and fentanyl. Angela Quewzance and Andrew Dobko, both 27, were arrested and charged with one count each of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Francis and Hall remain in police custody and appeared in provincial court on Friday.
