A Regina man is facing 14 charges in connection with drug trafficking.
On Tuesday evening, a business in the 1400 block of Broad Street contacted Regina police regarding a suspicious person outside in a vehicle. Officers arrived on the scene and found the man in his vehicle. The suspect ended up running away, but was found a short time later with the help of a K9 unit.
Officers found and seized marihuana, cannabis resin, crystal methamphetamine, amphetamines, cocaine, psilocybin, and several pills. They also found scales, drug paraphernalia, and several cellular devices.
Brett Joseph Hochban, 31, of Regina, is facing, among other things, five charges of possession of a scheduled substance and five charges of possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He made his first court appearance in Regina Wednesday afternoon.
