If you’re taking Saskatoon City Transit Sunday there are a few changes and cancellations to keep in mind.
It’s part of ongoing job action between transit workers and the city.
Members of the Amalgamated Transit Union are refusing to work overtime as contract talks with the city remain at an impasse.
Pension changes have been a major sticking point throughout negotiations.
Workers have been without a deal for four years.
The changes for Nov. 20 are as follows:
- Route 2 Meadowgreen scheduled to leave the Downtown Terminal at 3:45 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m. will be cancelled today. Passengers will be required to catch Route 2 Meadowgreen leaving the Downtown Terminal at 3:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 8:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. This route will only be providing hourly service from the Downtown Terminal starting at 3:15 p.m.
- Route 8 City Centre scheduled to leave the Centre Mall Terminal to Downtown Terminal at 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. will be cancelled today.
- Route 81 Centre Mall scheduled to leave the Downtown Terminal to Centre Mall at 3:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. will be cancelled today.
- Route 81 University via Taylor Street scheduled to leave the Centre Mall Terminal to University of Saskatchewan at 4:08 p.m., 6:08 p.m. and 8:08 p.m. will be cancelled today.
- Route 81 Centre Mall scheduled to leave the University of Saskatchewan to Centre Mall Terminal at 4:38 p.m., 6:38 p.m. and 8:38 p.m. will be cancelled today.
- Route 86 Rosewood scheduled to leave the Centre Mall Terminal at 5:05 p.m., 7:05 p.m., and 9:05 p.m. will be cancelled today.
