Henry Burris’ Grey Cup performance was the equivalent of a mic drop.
Fourth most passing yards ever, second best quarterback ranking, oldest QB to ever win. The list goes on and on and on and he limped off the field a champion.
He barely could walk up the stairs to pick up the Grey Cup trophy and all thanks to his “happy medicine” they put in him before the game, he had the game of his life.
A career of doubters, haters, Good Hank, Bad Hank means nothing. He is a first ballot Hall of Famer leading a third year team to a title and his second Grey Cup Championship.
There is no more Bad Hank.
There is no more Good Hank.
There is Great Hank – that’s how he’ll be remembered and Sunday’s win was the exclamation mark.
