Everywhere you look in Regina, there are clear signs that something exciting is afoot.
The Western Hockey League Final begins Friday in Regina at the Brandt Centre as the Regina Pats host the Seattle Thunderbirds.
Tickets for that game – and Saturday’s Game 2 – sold out in minutes earlier this week, as fans are eager to cheer on their team, which has a clear shot to the Memorial Cup for the first time in 33 years.
The excitement in Regina is palpable. City buses have been broadcasting “Go Pats Go” – the same message can be seen on a screen at the new Mosaic Stadium.
