A quartet of American business students has taken to the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform to promote a new summer line of menswear.
Dubbed the RompHim, the one-piece shirt-and-shorts combo mimics rompers typically worn by ladies, but with a zippered fly and adjustable waistband meant to make the garment more comfortable for men.
The project was created by Illinois-based ACED Design, made up of four business students from Northwestern University.
The Kickstarter campaign includes a video featuring men strutting their stuff in what the company writes may be “…the start of a fashion revolution.”
While the garment may appear unconventional to some, there’s clearly a demand out there — at time of writing, the campaign had smashed its $10,000 goal by raising over $125,000.
