Heavy winds wreaked havoc in parts of Saskatchewan Wednesday.
South-central and southeastern Saskatchewan, including Regina, saw strong winds pick up throughout the morning and afternoon, gusting up to 90 kilometres per hour.
In Saskatoon, wind speeds were recorded at 105 km/h around 2 p.m.
Environment Canada expects gusts to ease up slightly later in the afternoon – but not before doing some damage.
By early afternoon, debris could be spotted throughout Regina. Garbage and recycling bins were strewn about the streets, and shingles had blown off of roofs.
There were also reports of semis being blown over on the highway.
