On Sunday, Feb. 18, police responded to a call of an injured man who had been shot during an alleged robbery on the 1400 block of Pasqua Street just north of the Pasqua Hospital.
Langan, 40, was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation led to Chad Barre, 31, being arrested and charged.
On Feb. 22, police officers including Major Crimes Unit, SWAT, Crisis Negotiator Team and Explosives Disposal Unit executed a warrant on a home on the 400 block of Retallack Street near 2nd Avenue North, where Pelletier was arrested.
