Catholic school division buses will be back on the roads Friday morning.
Thanks to the huge snowfall that began Sunday, this will be the first time this week that the yellow buses will be collecting kids.
The issue was mostly the accumulation of snow on residential streets and that may still cause some issues with the system.
While some roads are passable, others could be an issue and so there is the potential for delays.
“We hope that this doesn’t cause any problems but we are prepared that it most likely is going to involve some delays,” Twylla West explained, communications and media coordinator for Regina Catholic Schools.
As a result of that, parents are being urged to ensure they stay connected so no child is left waiting for a bus in the cold.
“Every parent of a student who gets transported by a yellow school bus should sign up for the parent portal website,” West said.
That information can be found online.
There will be no public school buses Friday as it is a day off for that division.
