The prime minister is visiting Regina on Wednesday for the second time in less than a week.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, along with Premier Scott Moe, will spend the afternoon touring Evraz Steel and meeting with workers.
The prime minister will then hold a roundtable with steel industry leaders.
Trudeau is also meeting with Mayor Michael Fougere at City Hall.
The visit to Regina is part of the prime minister’s cross-country tour as he fights against U.S. steel tariffs.
U.S. President Donald Trump has said Canada is exempt from steel tariffs for now but in the future that could change depending on the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
