It’s back to weekly garbage pickup in Regina starting next Monday.
Last fall, city council voted in favour of a biweekly winter schedule as a way to cut costs after losing the grants-in-lieu program in the previous provincial budget.
The four-month biweekly schedule was estimated to save $132,000 in fuel and labour costs.
Residents are now being encouraged to complete a short online survey to give council an idea of how they’re feeling about the pilot project. The survey is live until April 10.
