A man and woman are charged with murder in the death of a 21-year-old Regina man last week.
Police have identified Sampson Thunder Goodwill-Severight as the victim and have notified his family members.
Police officers were called out to a house on King Street between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue on Thursday night to respond to a report of an injured person. They found Goodwill-Severight dead at the scene.
The provincial coroner conducted an autopsy to determine the cause of death and found he had been murdered. Further investigation by police led to the identification of two suspects who were arrested and charged.
Justin Christopher Ford, 22, and Ragan Marlee Lavallee, 18, are charged with second-degree murder and made their first court appearances in Regina on Monday.
