The 45th Annual First Nations University of Canada’s Spring Celebration Powwow is one of the longest and largest running cultural celebrations in Western Canada. Everyone is welcome - families, community members and visitors of all ages. This come-and-go event has exciting colorful powwow dance performances, tasty First Nation foods and beautifully crafted pieces from Indigenous artists! Grand Entry starts at 12:00pm on Saturday and Sunday!

We’re turning back the hands of time as they use their Firehouse cooking expertise to spice up grandma’s secret recipes. As if racing against the clock to impress our celebrity judges isn’t enough to make ‘em sweat, we’ll crank up the heat even more up by interrupting with challenging practical job skills. Let’s see just what they’ll do to win the votes- and hearts- of the crowd! Take it all in while enjoying a modern 3-course take on your favorite childhood meal, interviews with our guests of honor, and an array of elaborate raffle prizes and auctions. Cocktails start at 5:30 pm, with a 6:15 showtime!
