It's the end of an era as the Plains Hotel is torn down in downtown Regina.
Demolition was originally set for over a year ago but the plan met several delays.
Once demolished, a 10-storey hotel, and 26-storey condo known as Capital Pointe will stand on the site at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Albert Street. It is being built by BrightStar and Westgate Developments.
Construction should begin in the spring.
