Arson charges have been laid against a 38-year-old female in connection to a residential fire in the 200 block of Avenue M north that started shortly after noon on Thursday.

The accused will make her first court appearance on Dec. 23, 2011 at 10 a.m.

The blaze consumed the bungalow, and it's anticipated to be a total loss.
