Students at the First nations Univeristy are saddened and disappointed with the federal government's decison to pull funding.  And they aren't quite sure what comes next.

Lindsay Lerat is a pre law student and says she has a heavy heart  thinking the institution she's only ever known may be taken away from her.

"I really had high hopes for this place, I strongly had a connection with this place.  I don't know how I'm going to deal with this.....I'm actually thinking of transferring."

With the school now out 12 million dollars, Lindsay says people are shocked and not quite sure what to do.

"It's hard to keep your faith strong when something you love so much is on its way down."

She says she's trying hard to keep her spirits high and is confident that First Nations leaders will come up with a plan to save the school.
