Schools are once again closing their doors forever in Regina. Students at Ken Jenkins Community school in the Normanview area of the city will be attending classes elsewhere next year.

In an unanimous vote the Regina Public School board decided to shut the doors of Ken Jenkins Community . Right now there is just 60 students attending and in four years that will drop to just 17. The Trustees felt given that there was little other choice. Ruth M Buck and Elsie Mironuk are the alternatives parents can choose for this August.

Another change made is in french immersion in the northwest. The boundary for Centennial school has been expanded to allow for more students to attend.
