Amber Holland and Team Canada in top spot at Scotties
Amber Holland's team from Kronau is continuing a strong run at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer and now Team Canada is sitting in first place.
They won 9 to 4 over Ontario Tuesday afternoon moving the team into first place with 5 wins and 1 loss.
Alberta also beat British Columbia 7 to 4 which dropped Kelly Scott's rink out of a tie with Team Canada down to 4 wins and 2 losses. They will play Quebec Tuesday night.
Michelle Englot's team from Regina held out to an extra end Tuesday afternoon but lost 8 to 7 to Jennifer Jones and Team Manitoba who they were tied for second place going into the game. Team Saskatchewan is currently tied for fourth place with New Bruinswick at 4 wins and 3 losses.
