A fatal crash just north of Balgonie means that traffic will be re-routed for most of the day today.

RCMP officers are warning drivers that Highway 10 will be closed in both directions from the Balgone turnoff to the Avonhurst grid-road for most of the day.

They are still investigating the cause of the 2 vehicle collision. The identity of the person who died is also not confirmed and the family has not been notified yet.
