The search continued Saturday for Brandy Wesaquate who was last seen leaving a party on New Year's Day in north central Regina.

Regina police and search and rescue members will gather at 9:00 a.m. at St Luke Alternate School on Elphinstone Street. Two previous searches have ended with no sign of 28-year-old Wesaquate who is described as aboriginal, 5-foot-ten and weighs about 180 pounds.

Lara Guzik with the Regina Police Service is asking people in the area to check yards and sheds for any sign of the missing woman.

“Looking for any objects or things that could help with the investigation,” Guzik said.

Search teams are once again looking in the area around Rae Street where she was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white hoodie. She was also carrying a white and blue Adidas backpack.

“If you see people walking around with bright vests or officers they may be knocking on your doors asking if they can search your yard,” Guzik said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Regina Police Service or call Crime Stoppers.
