8:30 – This morning marks the second and final day of arguments as the Supreme Court of Canada hears the constitutional challenge against Ottawa’s carbon tax, a day many in Saskatchewan – including our provincial government and those in our agricultural sector – have been waiting for since the tax was first announced. Dwight Newman is one of Canada’s leading experts on constitutional law, and he joins Gormley to go over the first day of arguments, what the court will hear today, and what’s at stake during this case.

10:00 – Nancy Wood, owner of the Hawood Inn, isn’t happy after Mtis leader Glen McCallum ignored COVID-19 protocols during a visit to her hotel for a two-day meeting last week. After McCallum’s positive diagnosis, the hotel was forced to close until at least Friday while cleaning and disinfection is completed. Wood says the incident has affected her finances, her staff’s finances, and the mental health of everyone involved. She says she’s hoping the Mtis Nation-Saskatchewan compensates her for the expenses and lost business, and she joins Gormley to explain the huge impact one patron’s carelessness had on her business.

11:15/30 – Rolling Stone’s list of the top 500 albums of all time was first published in 2003, and was updated again in 2012. Now, the iconic music mag has remade the list again, including artists like Beyonce and Taylor Swift for the first time. While a Saskatchewan-born artist made it close to the top (Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue’ landed at #3 on the 2020 list), it’s got us wondering: What album has made the biggest impression on you? Do modern records come close to classics like ‘Abbey Road’ or ‘Pet Sounds’? Do people even listen to whole albums these days? Give Gormley a call at 1-877-332-8255 and tell us what album you just keep going back to, and why!
