On Friday morning, Yorkton RCMP were called to a store in east Yorkton after an employee confronted a man he thought was shoplifting.
Early investigations suggests that the man pulled a knife on the employee, and threatened workers in the store. None were injured. The man ran from the store with groceries, jumped into a silver 2009 BMW X6, and took off heading south on Highway 9.
The suspect is believed to be involved in an earlier gas and dash in Foam Lake.
Police think the Alberta license plate on the car is BPH 8854.
The suspect is a man. No other descriptive details are known at this time.
