The case of a missing Prince Albert man from this summer is now a homicide investigation, despite the lack of a body.
RCMP Major Crime Unit North and Prince Albert police believe Troy Napope, 23, was murdered. His body has not been found.
Napope was reported missing June 6 after he was last seen at a party in the 1400 block of 12th St. W. in P.A. on May 27.
The morning after the party, P.A. RCMP found a burning car north of Prince Albert off Whitefield Road. They later learned Napope had driven the car that morning.
RCMP and police are asking anyone who saw anything unusual that morning to contact the police. They are also eager to speak to anyone who talked to Napope or saw his car the morning of June 28.
He was driving a grey four door 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.
