The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority has issued a Do Not Consume Drinking Water Advisory for Regina Pioneer Village.
The advisory is just a precautionary measure after unplanned maintenance to the facility’s plumbing system.
The water is not safe to drink but can still be used to wash hands, bathe and do laundry.
The facility will have potable water brought in for residents, visitors and staff and for food preparations and other necessities.
The situation is being monitored by maintenance and public health staff.
Signs have been put in place around the facility to ensure everyone is informed.
The advisory will be lifted once water samples sent to an accredited lab and tested.
The facility expects to have an update to the situation on Monday.
