Police are on the lookout for the suspect who stabbed a taxi driver and stole his cab in south Regina Friday morning.
According to police, it happened around 8:15 a.m. in the 2900 block of Parliament Avenue — just west of the Golden Mile Shopping Centre.
When officers arrived, they found the 34-year-old driver with multiple stab wounds. He was then rushed to hospital by paramedics.
Police are now looking for Regina Cab number 29 — a 2012 black Dodge Caravan with license plate number 979 KNW.
Anyone who spots the taxi-cab is asked not to approach it or the driver, but to call police immediately.
Officers blocked off Parliament Avenue — between Retallack Street and Robinson Street — for the initial investigation Friday morning. The street was reopened to traffic as of 11:30 a.m.
