Terri Lang, meteorologist for Environment and Climate Change Canada, explains and offers the outlook for the hot weather in the province over the next few days.
9:00 – The Saskatchewan Party says it is rejecting the federal Clean Energy Regulations and will not be following them because of the potential negative effects to the Saskatchewan economy. The Saskatchewan Environmental Society is responding by seeking intervenor status in the climate change litigation involving the provincial government. Peter Prebble and Glenn Wright, board members with the Saskatchewan Environmental Society, join Evan to share some of the positive trade-offs the regulations could mean for the province.
