After the blaze was extinguished, the Mounties said the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency and fire investigators worked to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
“Based on the evidence police have gathered, it’s believe the fire is suspicious in nature,” the RCMP said in a statement.
The RCMP is now asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect who was seen on surveillance video “arriving at the business, breaking in, and leaving in a dark-coloured SUV.”
Police said the vehicle strongly resembles a Jeep, “but may be another SUV with a similar appearance.”
Anyone with information about the suspect or the SUV seen on the video was urged to contact the Saskatchewan RCMP or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
