A 63-year-old Punnichy woman has died after her pick-up truck collided with a train on an off-road portion of track near Semans on Sunday night.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Dec. 8 the woman was declared dead at the scene by paramedics and her family has been notified after the crash about about 8:25 p.m. on Dec.7.

Officers from the Punnichy detachment responded, RCMP said, and no injuries were reported by the train’s staff.
