Two 21-year-old men from Calgary have been charged after a search by Dillon RCMP found drugs and firearms.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Dec. 8 that officers from the Dillon detachment searched a home on Buffalo River Dene Nation on Dec. 4, with the Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team.

RCMP said the officers found and seized around 484 grams of cocaine, a large sum of cash, a loaded handgun with the serial number removed, and a rifle and the two men were arrested at the home. RCMP supplied a photo of items seized that also included a number of cellphones.
The pair have both been charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a weapon obtained by crime, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, tampering with serial number of a firearm, careless use of a firearm, and two counts of possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized.
One of the men was also charged with possession of weapons contrary to an order, and the other is also facing four counts of failing to comply with release order conditions and obstructing police.
They appeared in court in La Loche on Dec. 8.
