Steps for Life is the flagship fundraiser for the Threads of Life Association for workplace tragedy. Family help which supports the the healing journey of families who have suffered a work place fatality, life altering injury or occupational disease. Produced by Live Nation Canada, this nationwide tour will feature two of Canada’s most notable voices in a free wheeling, unscripted, unrehearsed and unrestrained discussion that will have audiences cheering on the two Canadian icons. Spend an evening of laughter, stories and successes from their careers in entertainment, spanning multiple decades.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast running May 24 to 26 at Darke Hall. This enchanted musical features a cast of over 40 local performers directed by Jill Weins with musical direction by Katlyn Redding and choreography by Claire Castle and Breeann De Haven. With funds raised through the Ride for the Breath of Life, Cystic Fibrosis Canada will continue our work to ensure that EVERY person living with CF has the opportunity to live a longer, healthier life.

Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is Canada’s largest community event for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. A fun, family-friendly day, Gutsy Walk brings communities together to make a meaningful impact for everyone affected by Crohn’s and colitis. The walk raises awareness of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis while raising funds for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada’s research and patient programs.

The Sask Ford Mercury Club hosts 3 Show & Shine car shows annually held on June 9, July 7 and August 11, running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the A&W located at Albert Street & Avonhurst Drive location. Enthusiasts are invited to come out and display their vehicle, whether it is a car, truck or motorcycle, with a nominal display fee of $10.00. Members of the general public are invited, free of charge, to attend, view and admire vintage, classic and late model vehicles that southern Saskatchewan has to offer.
