A Toronto television station includes the Saskatoon’s Farmer’s Market in its list of the top markets in Canada.
CityLine, a news and entertainment program broadcast by City TV in Toronto, Ont., is recognizing Saskatoon’s Farmer’s Market as the best in Canada alongside farmer’s markets in Toronto, Quebec City, Vancouver and Fredericton.
Located on the corner of Avenue B and 19th Street, the farmer’s market is open six days a week and is home to a tonne of festivals and events year-round, including PotashCorp’s Winter Shines festival and the Saskatoon Craft Beer Festival.
In 2015 the Saskatoon Famer’s Market turns 40, making it the longest-running farmer’s market in Western Canada.
