The Saskatoon Stars and Edmonton Jr. Oilers needed a shootout in order to decide a winner in their Esso Cup showdown on Tuesday. Edmonton's shooters scored twice, beating out the Stars.

The Regina Pat Canadians gave up two third period goals to the Moncton Flyers, but held on to win their second game at the 2025 Telus Cup. The club is at the tournament for the first time since 2017.
