The damage is being assessed after thunderstorms lashed a number of central Alberta communities with heavy rain and golf ball-sized hail.
The severe weather was also packing a strong wind as it tore through Red Deer, Lacombe, Ponoka, Rimbey, Bentley and Rocky Mountain House, damaging vehicles, windows and other property.
Environment Canada issued tornado warnings and several threatening funnel clouds were seen around the Airdrie and Crossfield areas, but there were no reports of touchdowns.
Storms also struck the Lloydminster area.
