A woman’s body was pulled out of Kenosee Lake Tuesday morning.
According to the RCMP, the woman was found in the lake by workers. Police called it a drowning. The woman has been identified, and her family notified.
Kenosee Lake is about 25 kilometres north of Carlyle.
As of Tuesday afternoon officers were treating the death as suspicious, but said it would likely turn out otherwise. The RCMP were still investigating what happened.
