The RCMP said they found guns and $50,000 worth of stolen equipment on a property near Carnduff Wednesday morning, now a man is facing charges.
Officers searched the property, saying they expected to find stolen property that was believed to be in the area. Farm, construction, and oilfield-related tools and equipment were found, worth more than $50,000.
Police also found guns and restricted weapons.
Jody Alexander Bonnor, 49, was arrested. He’s facing 25 charges including possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a firearm while prohibited. As of Thursday afternoon, RCMP said there were more charges pending.
Bonnor was expected to make his first court appearance in Estevan on Thursday afternoon.
