A Regina man is due in court near the August following a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning.
It happened near the corner of Dewdney Avenue and Athol Street. Regina police were called to the scene at 8:22 a.m.
Police said a truck travelling westbound on Dewdney veered into the eastbound lane. The truck then collided with an SUV.
Four people were inside the truck. Three fled the scene leaving behind an injured passenger. He was sent to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were treated by EMS but their injuries were not serious either.
Justin James Papequash, 25, is charged with failure to stop at the scene of an accident and driving while impaired.
Papequash makes his first court appearance at Regina Provincial Court on August 27.
