An online poll shows voters in Saskatchewan are divided on who they will vote for in the fall federal election.
The results from an online Insightrix poll show 39 per cent of voters in this province are siding with the Conservative Party of Canada, while 35 per cent said they would vote for the New Democratic Party. Another 21 per cent of voters sided with the Liberal Party of Canada and five per cent were in favour of the Green Party.
The survey showed men are more likely to vote Conservative and the likelihood of voting for the Conservative party rises with age with 44 per cent of voters aged 55 and older favouring another Stephen Harper government.
Regionally, more voters (34 per cent) in Regina stated they are likely to vote Liberal when compared to voters in Saskatoon (23 per cent).
Ninety-three per cent of Sask. voters say they intend to vote in the fall federal election, only 10 per cent of those who intend to vote don’t know who they will vote for.
A total of 801 randomly selected SaskWatch Research panel members participated in the online study from Aug. 11 – 13.
