A man is now charged after a violent convenience store robbery in Regina.
It happened Monday at about 5 p.m. on the 1000 block of Pasqua Street.
Police say the suspect picked up a bat inside the store and threatened workers with it. One employee was then punched in the face.
The suspect took off with some merchandise and cash but was caught a few blocks away.
Twenty-four-year-old Joshua McDonald is now charged with robbery with violence and will make his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
