According to the RCMP, trying to avoid a crash is what caused a truck to roll on Highway 11 at the Regina Beach turnoff on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, RCMP say a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac was heading West on Highway 11 when a small truck crossed the highway in front of it at Highway 54. The Ford took “evasive action” to avoid a crash and ended up hitting a light standard and rolling into a ditch.
RCMP said police, EMS, and fire were there, along with several passers-by who stopped to help.
The two women and one man who were in the Ford were taken to hospital, there was no word on their injuries. Police said all three were wearing seatbelts.
Highway 11 was closed for about 40 minutes as RCMP investigated.
