This afternoon a light layer of snow has shown up in Lake Louise and Bragg Creek, Alta.
Images from the Paradise web cam in Lake Louise, which are being shared on Twitter, show a dusting of snow. Snow is also reported in the area between Edmonton and Jasper, near Hinton.

There has been a special weather statement issued for Calgary and nearby areas. Environment Canada says upwards of 25 millimetres of rain has fallen, and will continue, with around 40 millimetres expected by the time the rain ends tonight.
