A 12-year-old boy is lucky to be alive after getting shot in the stomach.
Regina police responded to the shooting on Saturday at 3:55 p.m. on the 1500 block of Garnet Street.
The boy was taken to hospital where he is expected to recover and another boy has been arrested.
A 15-year-old is facing multiple charges including “careless use or storage of a firearm” and “possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.”
The boys can’t be named according to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
