Regina's Lawson pool reopens, Sandra Schmirler closes for maintenance

One Regina pool reopened Monday as another one closed for maintenance.

The Lawson Aquatic Centre and weight room opened after being closed for maintenance since July 20. Swim schedules will be updated and posted on the City of Regina’s website.

Meanwhile, the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre closed for three weeks starting Monday for its annual maintenance. The centre will get some new paint, cleaning and mechanical repairs, as well as a new UV water treatment system. The library, however, will remain open.

Monday also marked the last day that most of Regina’s outdoor pools were open.
