Two people will appear in court Monday to face 37 charges following a drug investigation in Saskatoon.
On Aug 27th officers with the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) executed a search warrant at a motel room located in the 2500 block of 22nd Street West.
Seized from the motel room was 300 grams of meth, 30 grams of power cocaine, 193 grams of crack cocaine, 8 grams of marijuana, 31 capsules of morphine and $3200 in cash.
Five guns, a machete, bear spray along with cell phones, packaging material and score sheets were also seized.
A 35-year-old man and 47-year-old woman were taken into custody.
The man who was also wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for breaching his statutory release conditions was taken to hospital for two self inflicted gun shout wounds to the leg.
Police said he suffered the gun shot wounds several hours before the search warrant was executed.
SIDEST is an integrated unit with members of the Saskatoon Police Service and the RCMP ‘F’ Division.
