A Regina man is facing 10 charges after police conducted speed enforcement Sunday.
Police saw a white truck swerving and travelling over the speed limit around Winnipeg St and 2nd Ave North. According to police, an officer stepped out into the middle of the road to flag down the vehicle but had to get out of the way to avoid being hit. The truck eventually slowed down and stopped.
Officers searched the vehicle and allegedly found an assault rifle with a high-capacity magazine, ammunition, and open liquor.
Corey Wesley Gosman, 26, is now facing, among other things, impaired driving and three charges of careless use of a firearm. He was also given three tickets.
Gosman made his first court appearance Monday.
