The Saskatoon Hilltops beat the Regina Thunder 35-17 in a back and forth game at Saskatoon Minor Football Field.
The Hilltops’ Logan Fischer ran for 293 yards on 32 carries as Saskatoon outscored Regina 21-3 in the second half. Quarterback Jared Andreychuck was good on nine of 18 passing attempts for 158 yards and two touchdowns.
Saskatoon moves into sole possession of first place in the Prairie Football Conference with a record of 4-0. Regina drops to 3-1.
These two teams meet next weekend in Regina for the rematch.
