Regina men charged after 2-year investigation into Strasbourg meth lab

An abandoned house turned into a meth lab near Strasbourg has been linked to three Regina men now charged with producing and trafficking the drug.

Tyler William Young and Scott Riley Pring, both 32, as well as Bradley Wesley Oxby, 35, were arrested Thursday. They are to appear in court Friday morning.

Young is already facing charges in another investigation, that began three years ago when suspicious banking activity was reported. He was charged last year with fraud, forgery, identity theft, money laundering and possession of stolen property. That investigation turned up luxury vehicles, recreational vehicles, cash, jewelry, and electronics. They were seized during searches of an acreage in the RM of Sherwood, a house on Bergamont Bay in Regina and a business on the 1400 block of Scarth Street.

The investigation into the meth lab at the abandoned farmhouse along Highway 20 began two-and-a-half years ago when someone living in the town reported to RCMP there were “unusual containers and materials” outside the house. It took RCMP, Saskatchewan Environment staff, firefighters and EMS days to clean up the hazards.

Since then, RCMP dedicated three officers to this investigation, but they worked with several others.
