The WHO are postponing their North American tour, including their stop in Saskatoon on Oct. 6, after Roger Daltrey contracted meningitis.
“I am now on the mend and feeling a lot better but I am going to need a considerable time to recover. The doctors tell me I will make a complete recovery, but that I should not do any touring this year,” Daltrey said on the band’s website.

The band originally postponed four shows on advice from Daltrey’s doctor after falling ill to a mystery virus but medical staff have confirmed he has meningitis and are prescribing him rest.
The band is rescheduling all their shows for next spring. Tickets for the original dates will be honoured for the new shows, which will be announced shortly.
“Once Roger is completely well we will come back stronger than ever and Roger and I will give you all a show to remember.” Pete Townshend said on the band’s website.
The band is apologizing to fans about the postponement.
