A Saskatoon inmate has been sentenced for his part in a disturbance at the correctional centre this summer.
Lloyd Nanaquewitung will get 60 days added on to his previous sentence after pleading guilty to mischief over $5,000.
He damaged the low-risk dorm unit where he was housed during what police say was an attempt to escape on July 22.
But Nanaquewitung’s charge of escaping custody was stayed.
Five other men from the low-risk unit, ranging in age from 18 to 31 years old, are still before the courts.
